When you make a PMV you really get to know a performer, maybe a particular scene, very well. Usually, by the end, you hate it. But in some rare cases, you love it even more.
I've got to know this one very well, and it made me do the usual things, first off, go find everything else good she's done, and maybe have a look at the producer's output a little closer. The latter proved fruitless, but Aaliyah has a lot of standout scenes from other sites. The other thing, of course, is to write up one of these occasional posts.
The scene is long, varied and Aaliyah puts everything into it. I barely noticed her partner, he's serviceable, it's Aaliyah making this work like it does.

When I did, I saw this, and instantly added it to the PMV I was working on.
As I went on, I found more and more amazing clips from a scene where Aaliyah is just throwing herself into the performance. Even though these are a single performer videos - often with a fixed camera, the effort that has gone into the production is impressive and the acting is off the chart.
Now, if all you want is to see pretty girls fuck, then this is not for you. This is material where the performer is almost always alone, with a fixed camera, and while they may be doing almost anything physically, the central performance is all in their words, their tone, their attitude. For the performer-producer, they're barely half way. They have to edit, package and upload their content, then somehow, go about marketing and promoting it in marketplace filled with a deafening cacophony of other performers, just like them, hawking their wares. And that's before you consider all the work and expense they had to go to, before even squatting in front of that, enormously expensive HD camera. Hair, makeup, outfit, accessories. All bought, in advance, by you, each choice agonised over. Is it worth buying this basque for just one shoot? How can I make this bedroom shoot look different than the last one? What would suggest Egyptian temple anyway? Does this wig look too scruffy?
Every now and again you get a glimpse behind the curtains. I once had a bit of back and forth with a performer about building her website. She was doing it all by herself. As for style, while I still love dividing the screen and animating opacity masks, I decided to give it a rest for this one. I'm working on a half dozen other PMVs and in those I've kind of gone down the opacity mask spiral which has no end which has slowed progress significntly. So, instead, I decided to make almost everything a speed ramp. These girls get slowed down, speeded up and then slowed to a freeze frame over and over and over. After all, if there there's a good porny scene, then what makes it better? Watching it in slow-motion of course. Of possibly, speeded up to a hamster-wheel blur. The whole track has an underlying loop with three sets of three accented beats in a repeating pattern. I tried to hit every one of these with the same freeze-frame edit, only varying it for the changes, when I do the camera-flash reverse-image fade thing which seems clever the first time you do it and gets rapidly more irritating from then on.
As usual, I put a performer credit sequence at the end listing each girl, in the order they appear in the video. I may put a list of the videos used in this upload but TBH that's a massive pain in the arse as I need to search for each track again.
