I lied!

So I do three things. I make PMVs. I write stories. I make captioned images.

When I'm blocked on writing, I make PMVs. When I can't be bothered with PMVs, I write. When I can't do either, I make captioned images. 

But recently, I've wanted to make captioned images more. All the same. All Eva Lovia, and all of a particular style and content.

Making them is both disturbing and very satisfying - an uncomfortable combination.

I tried doing these with images of other pornstars  but that didn't work, and it seems only Eva represents the ideal of dominant femininity for me.

The first kind I do, are  high contrast. A picture of Eva, looking straight at the camera, and words highlighting the contrast between her and the viewer - her inadequate husband.

The picture is key for the image to work. I look at a lot of them before choosing. She can't be naked and she has to be looking at the viewer. The words have to dominate. Literally.

I like putting her in front of the words, while still leaving them readable, relying on the viewer to fill in what isn't visible. The one above isn't perfect since she's topless, but her look is so powerful I made an exception.

These evolved from ones like the above, which is more of a slogan. And these evolved from the one below where I repeated the text all over the background.

The point is to marry her smouldering, contemptuous look with the impact of the words. 

But of course, being the wordy bastard I am, I can't resist something with more text. These are similar, although I'll tend to use a full-body picture rather than a close-up. I get to elaborate on the relationship a bit more and these tend to be milder. Sorta. 

Eva's husband loves her so much it hurts. She tolerates him, maybe even loves him a bit, but sadly, she no longer finds him attractive. She's forced to find consolation with other men. Adventures in Audio Porn

Did I do an audio post before? I did, but it was years ago. Audio porn is to video porn as TV is to reading. It's a little more work, but so, so much more rewarding.

Reddit's GoneWildAudio is an amazing resource. But unlike visual porn, the medium requires a little work to get the most out of it. So, even though I've been visiting GWA for ages, it took me until just recently to find performers I really like, like AprilW9.  I just wasn't putting the work in, dammit.

Putting in the work.

If you read this blog, and you haven't visited GWA then you should. There are thousands of very, very professional audio recordings covering every kink imaginable. Listening is so much more sexual than looking or even reading. In the very best porn that I like, the actresses act, which can include expression and movement, but mostly it's what they say. But it's so rare. Lots of porn contains barely any speaking at all. When you do find it, it's often repetitive and badly acted. You can get distracted by the images but it never hits you in the heart in the same way as a woman's voice does when delivering  powerful words, direct to your brain. When it works, it's amazing. And that hit comes more frequently, and harder in audio.

Plus, it's almost all free. Many of the best performers have patreons or other pay sites but vast amounts of very high quality stuff is available for nothing. Plus many performers post and comment and take suggestions and feedback online. It's a great community.  It just takes a bit more work than opening a browser and looking. You have to listen and that's harder. Not just more time-consuming, it takes effort to listen, seeing is free. 

I have only scratched the surface of what is on GWA, but I have a few observations.

Everyone is so nice.

The internet is a crawling, foetid swamp of narcissists and fun-ruiners. But decent people have found some cosy corners to hide in. GWA is one such place. Perhaps the moderators of the subreddit are particularly vigilant, but I've never seen people being mean or dismissive. Posts are removed or deleted, but more often for posting links to paysites or other spammy acitvies.

There are so many switches.

I've never listened to a male recording artist, but among the most popular/prolific women, almost all have posted Femdom, Femsub, GFE, weird fantasy and all sorts of stuff. Some are better or more familiar with one kink or another but most of those that I've listened to and like, do a variety of stuff.
It's not like that in the PMV community. There, people find a style and subject and stick to it pretty hard. I can usually tell who made a particular popular PMV by watching the first 10 seconds or reading the tags. Audio performers are much more varied in the topics they cover, even if they excel in one particular area.

Writers and performers are not the same people...

.. to the degree that performing someone else's script is the norm and recording artists tend to flag when they've written the content themselves or are just making it up on the spot. Some scripts are popular enough that several  performers may have a go. That said, there are probably thousands of poor quality scripts languishing that will never be taken up. But still, I don't know of any other medium where writing may so frequently have a life beyond the words on a page.

L-Bombs.

Writers and performers tag the scripts [F4M], [Incest], [Beast] etc. And it's fascinating what they choose to emphasise. L-Bombs are tagged all over the place. I L-bomb that. If someone isn't in love with someone else then what's the point, right? I think every story I've ever written has someone saying they love someone else at some point. Sometimes they love each other on every other page. I don't go looking for anything else - most of the  FSub and FDom stuff on GWA is filled with love. It may be rough, but there's always love and acceptance, which is great.

My own forays into writing for audio

So, ages ago. I liked a site called StrappedInSilk, owned by audio domme Teresa Bowers.. This was in the around 2008.  I messaged back and forth with her a little and I asked if she would record a script I'd written. Its here (as a pdf) And her recording is here too. I loved this, but to be honest I don't remember what writing it was even like. I do remember the thrill of hearing her voice saying the word 'Lingerie'. It sounded way better the way she said it than the way I'd imagined the character saying it. 

Much later I found Natasha's Bedroom and  and Lucy Marie on clips4sale. They did customs at the time and I asked each of them if they would do a script I'd written. (This was a one-sided psychiatrist femdom script). It's here. It was too long and both of them were getting out of the custom business,( or at least they said so. I now suspect that my script was just waaaaay to long), anyway,  I left it there.

Then I found PrincessAmiAudios, who also records (or, at least, used to record) on GWA and had a YouTube channel. I liked her stuff so much I joined her patreon which had the reward that she would record a script. But I've never managed to write one. I tried to turn an existing story into a one-sided dialog. That was easy - it was keeping it succinct that was hard.

It's much different than just writing a prose story, and even though most of my stories are 90% dialogue, writing-to-be-spoken still feels very different. What I write, sounds like writing, not speech. When people talk, so much more is implied than is said. It's show not tell, but all you have is words. And if my case, too many words.

Examples of what I like in Audio

So here's two favorite stories/performers that were in my groove.

The first is ThrowAwayYourLust, doing a script by u/flos_legere, which is here. Her recording is here. (* Actually, she has her own site now and deleted the originals from reddit but the site its down now. Hmm. This copy will do for now but I wish that site were up). These characters appeared in other stories, in which the setup is a fictional firm who have 'Free-Use' Wellness Therapists to service the senior male managers. Very FSub. In fact, it's almost Erenisch, but without the slavery. The script then takes that into a Femdom, Cuckold direction by having the personal secretary's husband be on the phone while she's being fucked by her manager. There's some breeding stuff in there too and it's all very well integrated into the story so it makes sense on it's own terms. I loved this so much I joined Lust's patreon.

Then there's this one Inappropriate Office Behaviour, , by AprilW9 who may be my favourite performer. The script is by ezy11, here and it's set in the same or a similar firm. (I love this Wellness Secretary setup). In this case, the secretary is upbraiding her boss for not being dominant enough with her, in a kind of workplace-harassment-in-reverse scenario. Her voice is wonderful, and she's funny and clever and talented.

There's so many good moments in that that I could write a whole blog post on any one, but if you do listen to these (and I very much recommend you do, then watch out for her saying "I can't wait to see the look on your fa.."

My actual recent audio writing.

I wrote a sequel for AprilW9's Inappropriate Office Behaviour story  which I'm hoping she will perform. In a Q&A she said she likes scripts where she gets to flip from Dom to Sub or Sub to Dom in the same scenario, so in the sequel she accepts that her attempts to make him more dominant have failed, and she takes their relationship into her own hands.

My first draft of this was 5,176 words. The OG script, by ezy11, which is 28 minutes long is only 1,786 words. It was only when I did this wordc ount that I realised that my verbal diarrhoea was out of control. Tightening it all up was a painful experience. I found reading it out myself revealed some of the problems, but didn't make editing it down any easier. I did a pass where I edited and edited and at the end found I'd only removed about a hundred words from the total. I'd cut about a thousand and added nine hundred more. D'Oh.

Update (April 2020):

I just got tired of trying to cut it down and published it on reddit anyway. I actually put it straight onto April's page.
Where it languished. It got a couple of comments and a handful of upvotes but no other response. . Then I noticed April has a small website where she actually has a paid-script-audio offer. Yay! So I submitted it there and she's doing it. I can't wait, but I must, until May, so that's not so long. I really, really want to try to do better at this. I've read a few scripts to get some better idea of the way language is used in a for-audio script, but I think practice and simply reading it out loud is probably the only way. I can do the implied dialog of just one side speaking easily enough. 

It's just that what should be one sentence is too long, and turns into two or three and soon enough the thing sounds like someone who is in a Jane Austen novel. When your character says 'However' during sex, you know you've taken a wrong turn.

Another Update (October 2020)

Writing audio isn't fast or easy. Nor recording or editing it either. It took till August for April to finish just the first part of the story. Listening to it was a joy. It's here. . Please listen to it and leave a comment on her reddit page.

Since then, April's been working on the second half. It's imminent. I've also been failing to work on a sequel. Hopefully getting part 2 will make me finish one of the many other scripts I've begun and then let languish in half-done limbo.

In this series, I'm trying to. work out what makes good porn. Setting and wardrobe and makeup and all matters to a degree but the performance of the central performer is the critical thing. And what is that performance? It's sharing. She's trying to get across how this feels. Sex is a two way thing. Your partner's feelings and pleasure are reflected back. It's more complicated than that, but projecting those emotions and sensations is key and Aria gets this across with ease. Her face is expressive and open. You know when you try and try at something, and you think what you make is good, and then you see someone else's work and you realise you're actually shit?

I've seen Mamman12's work before and it's good, but this latest one just blew my mind.

If you don't care for PMVs or you think they're a plagiaristic waste of good porn, then read something else now.

For a start, Mamman's latest opus has great music, attached to perfectly chosen clips, which is 90% of the the job. And though, this may seem like a technical tour de force, mamman12 isn't using that many techniques or effects, he's just using them really, really well, and sparingly.

Let's break it down. He's panning over images. He's rotating them a bit. He's speeding up and slowing down. He does his trademark glowing edge thing, and he highlights colours. That's it. Oh, and he adjusts the opacity over an image. You could do 90% of this in Premiere. I could do 90% of this, and if I had the patience, I could learn how to do his edge-highlight thing. But could I put it together like he has?
No. I could not. Or rather, I could now, I could copy it, but doing this so well, so orignally is what makes his PMVs great.

The playing-with-speed is the best feature of this. He has timed those speed ramps perfectly to emphasise a particular image or look. He then almost always hard cuts to black just to leave that perfectly lit image burned onto your retina and he times it to the bombastic track to leave it echoing in your brain. If you've never done this, it looks easy. Premiere or whatever editing software gives you tools to adjust speed and ramp it down or up, adjust the rate of change - all that, but timing it, and timing it to the music, isn't easy. Timing it right, to the music and having the image curl to a slow pause just at the right moment takes practice and patience and skill.

Having tantalised your brain with a startling, shocking image, he then takes a calm, leisurely stroll over some darkly lit shots until he does it again, and again, and just when you think he'll do it again he rips through a series of images in such rapid succession that you're left gasping 'what the fuck was that'?

When I saw this entry for the 2020 PMV games, I'd just finished doing a long PMV which I was pretty pleased with. But after I saw this, I felt like deleting it.

Choosing the clips for your PMV is 90% of the job The other 90% is timing. Mamman12's timing seems almost lazy. He'll let a clip play for a long time, lingering over it, and then hurl through a sequence so fast the viewer can barely register them. Some of those images have multiple effects to enhance them and probably took forever to put together but he has the confidence not to  give them time, but let them register almost subconsciously. So it seems lazy, but really it's genius. The viewer is left dazzled by the change in pace and wondering what they just saw. I dare anyone to watch this just once. When it reaches the end you want to play it again just to experience the dizzying drops and the dopamine-hit of the millisecond perfect timing.

Trying to explain this with gifs is impossible. You need the music for it to make sense. Plus, the video needs to be seen in whole for the context and the way it builds and collapses and builds and collapses. Short clips don't really get it across

BUT, there's no publicly available place where it's available that I can find. Her's a short clip with the sound which tries to do it justice.

Perfect Porn : Alina Lopez Blowbang.

Alina Lopez is perfect. Obviously, she's stunning, but she also comes across as just, a really together, confident, dazzling person. I've watched a lot of interviews and what stands out is that she has a lot of respect for herself and what she does professionally. Also, top notch but some full-lngth shots, some of her walking around and posing wouldn't have taken anything away and been really cool. Lastly, there's a lot of cock-slapping which, ho-hum, does zero for me, but someone must like it because it's always there. Maybe Alina likes it because she's the one doing it most of the time.

Given those gripes, it's just outstanding. Alina and the director work together so her incredible eyes bore into the camera almost constantly. It's like she's trying to melt it down. And those eyes ...

Keeping this up for the hours it must have taken to shoot must have been exhausting but it really makes the movie. And of course, Alina is talking whenever she doesn't have a cock in her mouth. She lavishes some amazing lines all through it, putting lots of emotion into her tone, and the climax comes, well, when you'd expect. With a cock ready to spurt all over her, she pierces the camera with her grey-blue lasers and drawls, "Yeah, paint me up." Doesn't sound like much, but in context, it's incredible, and she delivers it knowing just the effect it will have.  I have to believe she just extemporises through all this. Her performance is a masterclass and she elevates the whole thing to a level porn doesn't usually reach.

I'm reluctant to give Darkko much credit but EvilAngel does this top-end glossy porn better than anyone. Alina's hair, makeup and lingerie are peak porn. Her eyes, which seem to fill the screen at times are flawlessly made up and though she throws herself at those cocks and the whole scene is slobber from start to end she still manages to look amazing right to the end.

They're topping up that makeup and fixing her hair throughout. When you do a PMV you end up scrutinising a scene in great detail, which in this case is no bad thing. She kneels, lays down on her back, squats and lies on her back but the focus is always a rigid line sraight to her eyes and her busy mouth and hands. For a few shots they're face-fucking her, hands on the back of her head, but for the most of the 58 minute and seven seconds  running time Alina's in control, endlessly feeding cock after cock into her achingly pretty mouth and side-eying the viewer with a obsessive hunger. Id' defy the most ardent porn hater to see this and claim Alina has in any way been degraded or disrespected by this movie. It doesn't invalidate that a lot, maybe most porn is degrading and nasty but she proves it doesn't have to be. I wouldn't claim anyone has been empowered by it but it's enormously entertaining, even affecting and Alina comes out of it looking like a kind angel, possibly even an evil angel.
