It is! I read that and thought the same thing. Especially since it another piece of evidence that, in fact, it is not "a choice", but instead something you are born with.
It always makes me cry reading about transitioning kids. I feel the ghost of a happier self that could have been and can never be. I think it's the loss that makes me cry, but also the felt sense of the love that allows kids to transition; the parents, the changing culture. I'm so proud to be part of all that.
